Myrick giving Foxx competition in Crazy-town

It's hard to imagine that there is another NC Congress-person with wackier (and more dangerous) ideas than Virginia Foxx, but Sue Myrick is ratcheting up the Crazy.

The former mayor of Charlotte who once tried to have Rock and Roll concerts banned from the Charlotte Coliseum and who claims to have spoken to God through her Mr. Coffee Machine, is now on an anti-Islam rampage to say the least.

...oh yeah, here's a little more about about the Manic Myrick:

Oh please, oh please

Link us to the Mr Coffee and Rock and Roll stories

Not sure those links exist anymore...

I just remember them from when I was in high school in Charlotte back in the 1980s and Myrick was mayor. I'll look for the archives though.

Creative Loafing has

It's in the archives, I know

I know it's in the archives of the Charlotte Observer for sure, but I'm not sure it is available electronically. I beleive the original stories on those were like 1982 or 83. Maybe earlier. I'm going home this weekend to Charlotte for the holiday, so I may swing by the library and see if I can get a hardcopy. Will advise.

Virginia Foxx

Anyone that takes Virgina Foxx seriously is a total and complete idiot. There are right-wing wackos and there are extremists. This woman is both of them rolled up into one.

It will behoove us to rid our state of this POS in the next election.

Sorry for putting it that way, but it's just true.

I heard the report live this morning

Odd coincidence perhaps .... but a lot of the nutso BS flying around these days originates with things called Fox(x). I bet she ends up as a commentator/host for that network post retirement.

Why those people down Charlotte way keep voting for her is an absolute mystery.
