NC-05 2008: It begins NOW
Kos has a thread about 2008's vulnerable house seats.
If you think Sweatershop Foxx belongs somewhere other than Congress, we have to keep chinking her armor, and we have to start NOW.
Please go here and help comment and recommend on this thread about taking Foxx out in 2008.
The larger thread link is here.
Thanks BlueNCers! Lets take that bitch out! She lost her home county (Watauga) this time by 1000 votes! She took 9% less than Bush did in the district in 2004. We have her on the ropes!
Peace,
JW

Virginia Foxx will lose
She is the worst of the worst.
I believe in the people of this district, and I believe thats why she'll lose.
Why 100 Counties?
Races in the 5th District
I should note that the 5th also saw the pick up of several seats, go 5th!!!

Its not all friendly territory for Dems
But Watauga, Ashe, and Forsyth can all make up the difference. You have to remember that we also supplied the biggest shocker in the entire state by electing Steve Goss (D) over David Blust (R). The Fifth District Dems, and especially the Watauga Dems, are mean and tenacious and some of the hardest workers you will ever seen. They are also some of the sweetest people you will ever meet :)
We're trying to get the organizing done in the counties around us, and there is some amazing work going on, particularly in Ashe.
not friendly territory
But, there are Democrat there. Lots of them. Enough that they could turn an election.

Keep something in mind
08 is a presidential, which means a big chunk of your GOTV is going to be done by the press. So you will need a big ground game to turn out the really lazy Dems, but mostly you are going to need to convince people to vote for you that are showing up anyway. From what I have seen that is a much easier game for most of our candidates to play as long as they have enough time to do it.

"Keep the Faith"
Some of these counties still only have 50% turnout.
But, I get your point. Person-to-person will be even more critical.
