NC-05: Roger Sharpe and $20 Tuesday

Last week, we asked for $10. $10 a piece is what we needed to plant campaign signs all over Wilkes County and fuel out GOTV movement.

Now we are in crunch time. Our campaign's message is more crucial now and our ability to get that message of justice, ethics and common sense is vital to winning in the 5th District. Here's why.

Virginia Foxx, one of the most hated members of Congress is sitting on almost a million is cash and she plans to go through that in the next two weeks. We have already seen the tip of the iceberg with her radio commercials telling us how she has made us more secure, she also uses them to lie about Roger Sharpe and his position on immigration, she tells us how everything is swell in Iraq and how our economy is really very strong.

I guess if you are a millionaire, the economy is strong. But I am not one of those types of people - I work for a living. Ya know?

What is coming next, we can only imagine. If her past campaigns, especially her 2006 primary campaign is any indication, we are up for a Veron Robinson style attack. Folks, we must be able to fight back.

At the last cash on hand filing from the Sharpe campaign, had about $8000 and that money is gone. G-O-N-E!!!

We have DAYS left until the election and we must get some funds to get on the radio... and that is not cheap. Not cheap at all.

We know the enemy, the battle lines have been gerrymandered - it is now up to you.
