NC GOP trying to take over Board of Education

There's ambition, and then there's blatant conquest:

The State Board of Education shall consist of the Lieutenant Governor, the Treasurer, the Superintendent of Public Instruction, three members appointed by the Governor, four members appointed by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, and four members appointed by the President Pro Tempore of the Senate.

Yeah, that old Constitution is just a piece of paper, and if it says the Governor appoints eleven members (it does), then just tear it up and write another one!

In Vegas, this would be known as dealing from the bottom of the deck and stacking it......A sure bet is needed for Emperor Art Pope to stomp out all enemies of his educational fascist empire..
