New Video and Endorsement For Anderson Campaign

Its been a very busy couple of weeks at the campaign. Between events and endorsement interviews and call time and legal work Im not sure how Robin does it all. But its been a very exciting couple of days.

First, yesterday we announced that we had been endorsed by the Raleigh-Wake Citizens Association. Under the Dome picked us up.

As our press release said, this is Robin's second endorsement by a group, which gives her the most of any candidate in this race.

Second, there is a great article in the Charlotte Observer today focused upon what Congress is doing to increase funding for OSHA programs.

For months, workplace safety officials in North Carolina and about two dozen other states have complained that the federal government is shortchanging them.

Now they're beginning to get the attention of congressional leaders who vow to push for more federal money to states that run their own workplace safety programs.

Four Democrats will face off in the May 6 primary for labor commissioner. One of them -- Cary lawyer Robin Anderson -- has said the state should use any additional money for more safety inspectors and more in-depth investigations to protect workers.

And last but not least, today we are releasing the first web video of this campaign. This video is a biographical piece about Robin, her life story, and why she is the most qualified candidate. I hope that you will enjoy it and pass it along. It is available at our website but I have embedded it:

Again, YOU NEED TO MEET Robin Anderson.

She's approachable. She's smart. Her record of worker advocacy situates her at the absolute top of the candidates for Labor Commissioner and I sense that she's in the field because of a deep compassion for people who go to work in our state.

Excellent video, Team Anderson.

And sharp

Robin is among the smartest people you'll ever meet. The prospect of her energy and talent at the DOL has a lot of people who work in this area really excited.

Very inspiring video

It warms my heart to think that we have talented, dedicated people like Robin who want to serve in higher office. Her credentials and commitment are stellar.

For what it's worth, consider this my first endorsement of any candidate for any race.

Thank You so Much

That means a lot to me, and I know it means a lot to Robin.
