Trying to Supress the Vote
The GOP in Ohio tried to suppress voter turn out through dirty tactics regarding same day registration and early voting...straight out of their hand book.
On Monday, the state Supreme Court and two federal judges upheld the ruling by Democratic Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner that allows new voters to register and cast an absentee ballot on the same day from Tuesday through Oct. 6. Republicans argued that Ohio law requires voters to be registered for 30 days before they cast an absentee ballot.
The Ohio GOP asked the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Cincinnati on Tuesday either to stop same-day voting or require elections official to separate those ballots so the registrations can be verified. But Brunner already has instructed election officials to segregate those ballots and verify the registrations before counting them. A three-judge panel of the federal appeals court denied the request later in the day.

Apparently they are also concerned with voter fraud so much, lawyers are taking pictures of license plates. Now why in the world would you try to restrict people's right to vote? Oh right because they just might vote for Obama. Gosh darn those Democrats and their countless supporters. Oh well, they took a thumpin'.

I heard about them taking pictures of license plates.
I think that's an absurd tactic to start out with! For heaven's sake - the car that drives someone to the voting place does not necessarily belong to the person placing the vote. For example - during the primary, I think I drove to polling places at least 12 times - and at least 8 of those were to take other people to vote. But I didn't vote 12 times.
What lunacy.
I hope no one is intimidated by this crap. I hope they get right in their face and say

I've been thinking about this since last night.
I think I'd take pictures of the license plates of the assholes taking pictures. What do you think Max? Should I ask them to smile for the cameras? Oh, man. Now I want them to try it in NC just so I can pick a fight. That's bad.

Sure! Take their pics with the plates, and than tell them it is all over the net on the Porn sites.....That should make them jump! One thing, Don't take pics of Cops when they are around. Believe or not, they will say it is against the law just to scare you.....Fight e'm Linda and give no quarter..............
Have your cell phones ready
Take a picture of them taking video of you. Take a picture of their cars. Ask for their names. Let them know that intimidating voters is wrong and possibly illegal. Call the police if you feel threatened or are threatened. Report it to your local board of elections and to the chief judge of your precinct.

from open to close on election day. Our precinct isn't likely to have trouble, but I'm not going to let there be any.
