I couldn't stop laughing when I first saw it, and it still gets me going again. The media reports that the act is meant to be a great insult in the Muslim world, but Bush said it didn't bother him. How can you bother a man with no pride in himself? I wonder if Obama is wondering what he let himself in for?
to Obama. A journalist in Iraq has seen the Bush war played out in front of him for 5 years now. He's seen horror. He's probably seen his own friends and family killed, maimed or driven away. He's seen the war protests around the world and maybe knows how most Americans feel about it. He's also seen how the world has embraced our new President.
I think those shoes were meant for Bush alone, not America.
