First whatever
Will the North Carolina interTubes be buzzing with suggestions for what to call the husband of the new Governor? Ya never know.
Bob Eaves, husband of Gov.-elect Beverly Perdue, is honored and excited about his new role as the governor's spouse. He will not, however, assume the "dude" title chosen by Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's husband, Todd. Perdue lightheartedly suggested a contest on the Internet to determine the title.
At least Bob has the good sense to steer light years clear of anything to do with the Palin family. That's a good start. Got any suggestions for new first family? Here's mine:

It's a nice glimpse into the new first family.
I think First Mate is perfect,
especially considering they're boat people. Er...that sounds too much like Cuban refugees ala Mariel, but calling them "Mariners" is a tad grandiose.
"They have a boat, and they frequently enjoy the use of said boat, I suppose would best define my position on this subject."
Or maybe First Bob!
I'd just go with Mr. Eaves.
I'd just go with Mr. Eaves.
I'm a moderate Democrat.
I like this.
I don't think he needs a title.
He may not need one
but I betcha he gets one ... or several.
I like "Bob" instead of "Mr. Eaves." Lately I've been thinking that elected officials enjoy the benefit of far too much deference.
Well, he's not even elected. That's why I'm not concerned about
what title he wants or is given. We got over "titles" in this country in 1776, or so I heard. :)
What is in a name? Nothing unless you are the King!
He will not, however, assume the "dude" title chosen by Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's husband, Todd. Perdue lightheartedly suggested a contest on the Internet to determine the title. * New Unreality Game show for Pop Culture idiots
Unless, we have miss something in Alaska about historial names. " Dude" was a name given to untrained want to be Religious Republican cowboys. I would hope Governor Perdue husband simply be known as " Bob" from those sexual exhancement TV info commerials
and take it to a next level like "Bob" Dole.
Deadbeat Husband Nicknames?
How about "Sponge Bob?" Sounds impressive in Republican circles? Or in Governor Sara Palin case.........Sponge Retard Todd.........
The Governors Husband
Bob....
North Carolina. Turning the South Blue!
What do they call Easley's wife?
What have they called past govenor's wives?
Oh well...some of the posts were pretty good (I liked Sponge Bob) and, of course, it left open a PERFECT chance to get some digs in on Sarah Palin.
'Magine that !
