Now Accepting Questions -- Charlotte Lt. Governor's Debate
The NCFCD is now accepting questions for the Lt. Governor's Debates in Charlotte at UNC Charlotte in the Cone Center. Questions are welcome from all interested persons, including non-college students. Questions should not be addressed to a particular candidate; however you may mention a candidate's position on an issue. The deadline for submitting questions for the April 12th debate in Winston Salem, North Carolina is 12:00pm on April 11th. The executive board of the North Carolina Federation of College Democrats will screen questions for content and then refer them to the moderator for approval.
Questions may be submitted via the NCFCD's website.

Please submit questions, folks.
Seems like with all the traffic we had regarding the LG race over the past week, there should be some new questions that have come up.
Thanks.

Here is a question I have submitted ...
During this past legislative session the North Carolina General Assembly enacted public financing for three Council of State offices, following several years after the relatively successful public financing program for judicial appellate offices. Do you favor the program of public financing for these races and will you support expanding the program to include the office of Lt. Governor, and perhaps other offices, in the future?

How does he do that?
Must have been because I was in Laurinburg today...
Great, great question.
You were in Laurinburg and never bothered
to stop in Suffering Pines to see your friends?
Heh.

Oh?
Are you at leisure to receive mid day visitors? I'll remember that...
Usually, I shuffle the schedule.
Next time you're down this way, let me know.

Check 'YES' on your tax forms and
tell your family and friends to do the same. Doesn't cost a thing and just might improve the quality of our democracy.

Question for LGs
If it comes to casting your vote in the NC Senate, will you vote to repeal the NC Education Lottery?
Do good. Be nice. Have fun.
Would you support a NC State Income tax rebate
for people who purchase hybrid automobiles (previously proposed...but no ACTION in/from the Legislature) and would you agressively support an incentive program for private citizens to use solar enery to generate electricity back into the grid and reduce our carbon fuel requirements?
