Could be the format
Hey, James...i wonder if the format you are using is one reason this blog gets overlooked sometimes. Not in anyway am I saying this format is horrible, but I it's just a bit out-dated and dull graphically and functionally. It reminds me of the old news-group and list-serves that were the first community-based blogs.
I know how it goes to keep a blog going though, and I know how easy it is once you get a format -- and how hard it is to change. Still, there are a lot of easy to use blog systems out there now that offer a lot more updated and fresh looks and feels as well as functions.
Just a suggestion, but maybe it's time for a refresh and relaunch of the mission and the site. This blog is much more about progressive ideas than it is partisan Democratic (i.e. "Blue" NC, so maybe it just needs a rethink.
Of course, it could just be this reporter was lazy and only looked at blogs related to media outlets.
Just suggestions. I'm in, no matter what.

I'm honestly not sure what to do, or whether I have the energy or money to hit "refresh." Or if it's really worth it.
I wish Blue didn't mean "democrat."
Maybe we should change the name to GlueNC.

I think you do a fabulous job
with this blog. You've kept up with including the twits over on the right side and your latest BlueNC TV speaking animations manifestations are wonderful. There are plenty of flashy things that can go on and I suppose that attracts a certain demographic but it really is content that matters anyway, right?
