Perdue vetoes Racial Justice Act repeal

Tillis comments

What a sleazy piece of work this guy is. I guess maybe he missed victims' families lobbying the governor to veto the repeal.

House Speaker Thom Tillis had this to say about Perdue's veto: “I am disappointed in yet another decision by Governor Perdue to put politics ahead of principle. By vetoing this bill, the Governor has turned her back on the families of victims across this state and a vast majority of prosecutors who need every available resource to crack down on violent criminals.

Pretty much proves

that he is either an idiot or a partisan hack (I would guess a little of both). Nothing about this takes any resources from prosecutors. They are still free to seek the death penalty. It would only be overturned if it were proven that racial bias was involved in the verdict.

Haven't you lied enough Tillis?

Well said.

And thanks for saying it.
