For those of you who have been hiding under a rock,

Sen. Rucho "blasted" the Democrats and even their leaders for the past "100 years" on the floor of the Senate Chamber Thursday afternoon.

The guy may be a successful dentist

but he's a moron when it comes to economic literacy. The federal government under George Bush drove the US economy - and the North Carolina economy - into the toilet. It had nothing to do with the NC Senate.

That said, if he wanted to criticize the NC Senate for being a bunch of corporatist whores, I'd go along with him. But he won't raise that criticism because it would be too much like looking in the mirror.

than the guy who held his state senate seat, Robert Pittenger? Now that's saying something.
