What is up with all these high level Republican / White House departures? Some we know about, Donald Rumsfeld, Tom Delay, Larry Craig and now we have the second highest ranking Republican, Senator Trent Lott, leaving five years before his seat was expected to be contested, causing the Katrina stricken state of Mississippi to spend over a million some odd dollars to hold a special election just to replace him. Why?
Why? After trampling all over our Constitution, driving our economy into the ground over a misguided, mismanaged war and allowing no bid contractors like Halliburton to rape us in Iraq, is it possible that they foresee the cow pie hitting the fan? .... and that’s the ceiling fan folks ... mind you ... it’s piled that high.
While we’re on the subject of our good friends at Halliburton, isn’t convenient that they're moving their corporate headquarters from Huston to Dubai, in a country with no extradition agreements that I can find with the US? Why does the Titanic come to mind?
It looks to me like the USS King George is taking on water ... fast, and that’s a damn hard thing to do in dry dock. Be a good Capitan George .....

I really like Betsy's idea. I could see it now "CNN reports cow pies falling from the sky on Halliburtons new HQ in dubai... it's it a sign from above? In the past locust served to warn the evil doer .... how times have changed" : ) Leslie, if we get our way that ship will look less like a luxury linner and more like a prison barge because you are so right "guilty is as guilty does", never truer words spoken.

I wonder if the Haliburton crew and other moneybags contractors would mind if the hoi polloi (that's us, folks) demanded and got passage of a law that forbids the rats from returning to their country as long as they live.
Would they care, since Dubai is where the hypocrites go for fun and games, isn't it? Maybe permanent banishment would bother some of them. I'm wiling to give it a try.....but fat chance the legislators who feed a the trough would pass such a law. Oh, please King George, go to Dubai to visit your buddies and stay there.
How about sending him to the Hague instead?
