Renewing stupidity

Webster's defines renew as 'making (something) new, fresh, or strong again'. Perhaps this is the second wave of the "take our country back" meme. Well look no further NCians, Gov McCrony and his friends have a plan to renew North Carolina.

Before we dissect the "renewal", let's remind ourselves of who Renew NC really is. According to their website, they are

a public policy organization dedicated to the promotion of a free market economy, limited government, and promotion of economic development in North Carolina

But if you want to learn more, you'll have to fill out a form. I crap you not, you have to fill out a form.

How awesome is that? You seek information, you get spammed. Ah capitalism.

Back to my point...

Renew NC says that Gov McCrony has done a great job of 'stepping on toes'. (Especially of those who marched for the right to vote.) Renew NC stands by the claim that McCrony has reduced tax burden and created jobs. (Yes, I can't wait to have my childcare exemption eliminated. Why bother sending my kids to school? I might not have a job in the future.) Lastly, Renew NC states that we are rewarding our best teachers. (Apparently with tough love. Who needs a master's degree anyway? Am I right?)

So you see NC, McCrony and his friends can't wait to make our state strong again - one middle class family at a time.

Comments

I couldn't help but notice...

...that the organization's name backwards is "NC wener", a very close approximation of the characterization of DAG McCrony.
