Republican Budgetary B.S.

So I am sitting here watching C-SPAN and they have the House Minority Leader's Weekly Briefing showing with Minority Leader, Senator John Boehner (R-OH).
He's complaining about Democrats raising taxes. He says that we can balance the budget without raising taxes. He says that the taxpayers deserve to keep their "hard-earned money." He says that the taxpayers deserve "transparency" in how their money is spent and they deserve to know that their money is being used responsibly.
HOLD UP! Umm... The Republicans' handling of our national finances, especially under Mr. Bush, is the reason why our country is in this financial trouble right now anyway. How can he play this "Democrats are doing bad with your money" card when his party was the one doing much, much worse with the cash just a couple of months ago.
Gosh... These Republicans are sleazy little characters aren't they?

Now the Sleazy Republican Boehner just got done preaching about how it is Congress' job to provide oversight to the Executive Branch.
Don't you just love how they back-step now that they are out of power?
