Please read these sobering words from, Olympia Snowe, a rare Senate moderate. It must be observed that our own Richard "No one can get to the right of me" Burr is a big part of the problem.

Speaking of Congress

I am sick to death of candidates who claim god as their running mates. This paragraph caught my eye in an email from Mike McIntyre announcing his reelection campaign.

As Co-Chairman of the Congressional Prayer Caucus, McIntyre will also make sure that we protect the important role that faith and prayer have in our society.

What a bunch of bullshit.

Note to McIntrye campaign: I've asked to be taken off your mailing list several times. Please get your act together.
