RJA passes Senate
A modified version of the Racial Justice Act has passed the NC Senate. The House will vote later today. More info as it becomes available.
good news, bad news, good news
Good: The RJA passed the Senate.
Bad: With an amendment aimed at restarting executions.
Good: The amendment is not in the House version of the bill, so it could still be eliminated.
Thanks for the updates
I haven't been able to follow this today.
