Richard Burr refuses to reconsider his misguided "drill everywhere" approach to offshore drilling, even as oil from the Gulf threatens the Carolina coast.

Burr has pocketed nearly half a million dollars from big oil and gas companies. He's taken a hands-off approach to Big Oil as a member of the Senate committee that oversees drilling safety, and he now says he has "no criticism of British Petroleum," even as thousands of barrels of oil continue to spill into the Gulf every day and the federal government has opened a criminal probe into the disaster.
