Six Great Candidates Request Farm Team Endorsement
We're asking some tough questions.
Today, applications for endorsement went out to six candidates who are seeking help from the Farm Team in their November Elections. We asked some pretty hard questions:
1. If elected, why will you be a good public servant?
2. If you had to estimate the chance that you have of winning, what would the odds be?
3. What kind of impact would a contribution of $500, $1000, or $2000 have in your race?
I want everybody who has supported the Farm Team to know that in addition to supporting a worthy cause, you're supporting a smart cause. We are going to make sure that your contribution goes far towards cultivating the new leaders that North Carolina needs.
If you haven't been able to support us yet, please contribute to keep the Democratic bench strong and deep.
$50, $25, $15, or even $6 will go a long way.
And if you can't support the Farm Team, support one of the endorsement applicants with your dollars, your time, and your shoe leather.
Hopefully you're already familiar with Farm Team prospects Gordon Smith, Kady-Ann Davy, Donald Hughes, and Andy Ball. Two more great candidates have applied for endorsement as well: Mark Kleinschmidt, who is running for Mayor of Chapel Hill, and James Taylor, who scored a big upset when he beat the incumbent in a runoff to win the Democratic nomination for the Southeast Ward seat on the Winston-Salem City Council.
I want to wish the best of luck to all of these applicants - they're doing a great service to their communities and their state. If you want us to be able to make the greatest impact for as many of these candidates as possible, please pitch in today.

The NC Farm Team is important, and we all get to watch unfold up close and personal. It gives me hope for the future.
If you can make a small contribution to show support for these excellent candidates, please do. The links are right there. If you can make a bigger contribution to help accelerate the impact, please consider it seriously. Consider putting the Farm Team on your master plan for giving, maybe even near the top for a few years.
:)
I have no role or relationship with the NC Farm Team. I'm just an early fan.
Do good. Be nice. Have fun.
Thanks for the opportunity, Farm Team
I appreciate y'all working so hard to help young Democratic candidates like me win tough races across the state.
