Just in time to privatize it!

Have a good day.

Wake County on squishy ground

Kool-Aid Anyone?

Social Security is NOT on solid ground. Currently it is $14+ trillion in the hole.

Do yourself a favor, and always be skeptical of what comes out of the mouth of a professional politician and/or bureaucrat.

Liability does not equal "in the hole"

For a thinker, you're on thin ice today.

For example, let's say I have a mortgage liability of $535,000, but assets of $7 million. Does that put me "in the hole."

Do you have a mortgage yourself? Do you have enough assets to pay it off today?

Soc Sec Has NO Assets!

The only assets Soc Sec has are yours' and mine, James.

There's some pretty good comments posted regarding this subject at the "Read all about it" at the top of the page.
As for being a "thinker" I have plenty of bad days, but the weekend in only a couple of days away and I'll hopefully have some time to regenerate the grey matter.
Have a great weekend.

It ain't Social Security's fault,

it's yours and mine for allowing our Congress to dip into the piggy bank to finance all sorts of stuff.

If you borrowed from a family member for years without paying them back, are you going to turn around and tell them they're "bad at handling money" when they finally demand their money back?

Youbetcha

And, sadly, that activity has been non-partisan.

Seems that when there has been a "surplus" in any government program account, the politicians from BOTH parties see it and start looking at how they can spend it.

Good one, scharrison.
