Sunday thinking: Pat's legacy

Comments

McCrory shouldn't be worried about shaping his legacy

It's already shaped.

"Oh Johnny Boy" :)

That just bonked my funny bone pretty hard. A 30 second tv ad along the lines of the "Boxcar Willie's Greatest Hits" genre would be hilarious...

On sale now!

Coal-burning power plant operators are standing by. Have your credit card ready. Increased NC sales tax rates apply.

Very great

Could very well become his theme song!

"Pat King Coal"

Suffice it to say, I am easily distracted by comedic themes. Right now I've got the tune to, "Sixteen Tons" running through my head with variations like, "Ya spill sixty tons of coal ash, and what do you get? Another river fucked and deeper in public debt."

;)

I really need a vacation...

Keep at it

Some memes just flat-out stick, and the "coal ash legacy" has staying power and then some. Push it now and push it hard ... the more ludicrous, the better.

And just to say it, if McCrory were to miraculously have a change of heart and go after Duke Energy with all the tools at his disposal, that would be a good thing too. You and I both know that's not going to happen, but a guy can dream.

What's happening instead, of course, is nothing but tough talk, wink wink. McCrory would no more cross Duke Energy than he would Art Pope. One puppet, two sets of strings.

Right again, James...

...he's got nothing but "tools" at his disposal!
