Supervisor Jenna Wadsworth Speaks on Amendment One
In just a few hours, North Carolina's fate will be decided. The vote on Amendment One very well may come down to every last vote, which is why I am urging you to go cast your ballot against this discriminatory measure. Polls are open until 7:30 P.M. tonight, and it is crucial that you encourage people to head to the polls to help us defeat Amendment One.
I made the decision that as someone who was elected to serve all people in my county, I could not sit by and silently watch as a ballot measure which threatens the protection, livelihood, and standard of living of many of my constituents is being considered. While the vote on Amendment One may not seem to be directly related to my role as a Soil and Water Conservation District Supervisor, I believe that it is related to both my promise to provide the highest quality of life to the county's citizens and my duty to uphold the Constitution. Imposing discrimination and inequality--which is what this Amendment serves to do if it passes--is not only against the law, but it is also morally reprehensible. That is why I am asking you to please take a moment to watch this video to learn why it is important to vote against Amendment One.
Please join me in voting for love--in voting against hate--by voting against Amendment One today and encouraging your colleagues, neighbors, friends, and family members to do the same. You still have time to make the choice to stand up against discrimination and fight for a future of equality for all people.
BlueNC is dedicated to making North Carolina a more progressive and prosperous state. If your intention is to disrupt this effort, please find somewhere else to express your opinions.

Point of order
"Your generation" has as many jerks as mine.
Fake wedges are the stuff of Nixon.
That said, good job representing reason. The only thing that matters.
