2008 Presidential Race
Synergy and the Edwards Campaign
Submitted by Robert P. on Mon, 08/14/2006 - 12:21pm
Synergy: The interaction of two or more agents or forces so that their combined effect is greater than the sum of their individual effects.
Since his loss in the Presidential Primaries, John Edwards seems to have been making all the right steps towards 2008. Surely, a win in 2004 would have been great for his chances, in 2012, but the loss that many saw as a death knell appears instead to be just one of the acting agents in his 2008 synergy.

How a Progressive Sounds, My Take on John Edwards TODAY
Submitted by Robert P. on Fri, 07/28/2006 - 2:55pmThere has been much ado here today about John Edwards. Mostly from folks that are not familiar with the site and don't understand the backstory. Much ado about nothing in my opinion. So, let me give you a link to the John Edwards speech at Gnomedex 6, which gives you an idea of what John Edwards will sound like in 2006, 2007, and 2008 - a Progressive.
My favorite quote after the break.

An Invitation....
Submitted by Stan on Thu, 07/20/2006 - 8:55pmI would like to invite anyone from BlueNC who is interested in seeing John Edwards be elected as our next President to join our state yahoo group.
For more information go to:
North Carolina for Edwards here
We're just getting started...but we plan to be vigorous in our support and need some good minds and willing hands to help. We're building an information database on Edwards and what he thinks and has done to help us the debunk lies and false statements that will surely start to fly when and if he announces.
I live in Wilmington,,,my email address for this project is NC_boatr@yahoo.com and I'd be happy to provide more info. A group of us around the country currently have shell groups set up for every state and 12 states now have members in their group.

To Futher Prove Anglico's Point.........
Submitted by Anonymous on Sun, 07/16/2006 - 6:14pmAnd there probably are those out there who will say ,"Shit! Here go's Dan again" but I am gonna say this anyhow whether they approve of it or not!
Anglico & momoazio are dead on, Hitting the nail on the head with what they are saying! NO BS!, JUST PURE PLAN FACTS! So clear a 2nd grader could understand! So come alive out there people, Wake Up!! We are all Members of the Democratic party no matter how we slice the pie.
And that my friends is what this nation was founded upon. The Democratic principles of a Democratic party of men who saw fit to fight and bring us out from under the yoke of tyranny. Usually , I wont mix religion with politics, but in this case I will. So if I should make you disgruntled you know where to find me. I don’t have nothing to hide either. You ask and I will lay the truth out right before you.

Edwards campaign in full swing
Submitted by James on Sun, 07/09/2006 - 7:46am
Until this morning, John Edwards didn't even have a tag here at BlueNC, that's how far removed he's been from North Carolina politics. After serving only two-thirds of a term in the Senate on his way to an eventual vice-presidential bid, John Edwards was at once both an inspiring hope for the future and a hard disappointment. One one hand, he brought an important new dimension to the national political debate, but on the other hand, he didn't help Kerry win North Carolina and he didn't help Democrats retain control of the US Senate.
