Wilson Residents Continue to Write, Call and Object to Electric Rates

Problem is ... I have many emails from people who say Mayor Bruce Rose will not call them back, answer or respond in any way. But we are still hard at work on the ElectriCities Board and two newspapers are working on additional stories.

This scandal gets worse and worse. Rocky Mount Telegram gets legal bills at $647k and then Rick Dew requests it and it is over $1 million. Looks like citizens will have to request everything.

Sam Nobles everything is political so your point?

I don't know what in the hell Sam Nobles is talking about when he says, "Tarboro Town Manager Sam Noble, who is the ElectriCities board chairman, said the 14 percent rate increase is "fiscally responsible." "Anything less than that, you're playing politics," Noble said. "It's not good business." (Read More)
