Electric Membership Co-ops using customer payments for anti-environment propaganda

Received via email:

Dear Member and Friend,

As a cooperative, part of our responsibility is to educate and inform you of matters that impact your rates or service reliability. That is why I am writing today. Legislative oversight by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) may have negative consequences to your electric service.

Say YES to affordable and reliable electricity by asking EPA to withdraw its proposed greenhouse gas regulations for new power plants. EPA's proposed standards put your electric cooperative's ability to deliver affordable electricity in serious jeopardy, perhaps as never before.

Contact EPA during the public comment period, open until June 25th, through Our, Energy, Our Future at https://ourenergy.coop and express your concerns about the effect of this drastic regulation on your electric costs.

Best Regards,

Craig Conrad
