Foxx gets mention in article decrying: our country's "embracing of ignorance."
Submitted by sydfynch on Mon, 06/06/2011 - 10:59amThe Palinization of America: embracing ignorance. And Who is better to list along side the WingNut from Wasilla than Ginny Foxx, the reigning queen of Ignorance in the North Carolina delegation -- and that is saying something considering the competition (I'm looking at you Sue Myrick, Renee Ellmers and Patrick McHenry!)

Virginia Foxx paying off political donors - again
Submitted by sydfynch on Thu, 04/28/2011 - 12:04pmGood Old (and I mean OLD) Ginny Foxx. Openly corrupt as usual. Foxx is one of several congress-members who are urging the White House to back off the For-Profit Student Factories. I wonder if the fact that she takes money from those same For-Profit Schools had anything to do with it?

Foxx is more dangerous than any terrorist
Submitted by sydfynch on Tue, 03/22/2011 - 10:40amWhy would any disabled veteran vote for Virginia Foxx? She is working as hard as she can to cut veteran benefits and kill any chance they have of getting better healthcare.

Foxx's expense totals for 2009
Submitted by sydfynch on Fri, 07/23/2010 - 9:49amAs part of Speaker Pelosi's attempts to make government more transparent, we're starting to see more and more data about what our elected representatives are doing with our money. The Sunlight Foundation, for example, just published a new database of what each member of the house spent in 2009 on expenses.
Most people don't realize that each house member, each committee, each office has an expenses budget every year. House members, for example, spend about $1 million a year while Senators spend closer to $3 million. What's most interesting about this info, is once you get past the totals you start to see how much waste there is in congress itself -- and especially from the people who spend all their camera time yelling the loudest about wasteful spending and inefficiencies, blah blah blah.
Well I give you Crazy Old Ginny Foxx's totals for 2009:

NCDP seeking help for Kissell to stand against "John Boehner and his stooges."
Submitted by Stan on Fri, 06/18/2010 - 8:46amAW, the Exec Director for the NCDP sent an email yesterday telling about the big fundraiser going on last night in Washington for Harold Johnson, the GOP candidate for Kissell's seat. He wondered if Robin Hayes would be there to teach Johnson " how to go back on his word...." AW asked if I would stand with "us" and support and volunteer for Kissell.
What came to my mind, without knowing Johnson, is the question: Isn't Larry one of the stooges anyway? Didn't Larry make everyone believe he would be something other than another DINO?

Follow the Foxx money
Submitted by sydfynch on Mon, 03/29/2010 - 2:09pmI'm always amazed at the number of Right-Wingers who claim to hate government but then spend millions to get into the very same government. It's fascinating that so many rich people would fight over public service jobs -- House Rep and Senate, for example -- that pay but a mere pittance of what they could probably make in the "private sector."
If they believe the government is such a bad thing, why do they continually do whatever they can to return to Washington?
Oh, yeah,...the money.
Take the curious case of U.S. Rep Virginia Foxx (R - Dist. 4). Seems this former teacher and garden-shop owner is getting rich off her constituents. And the longer she stays in federal office, the richer she gets.

Foxx makes the 50 Most Loathesome List
Submitted by sydfynch on Fri, 01/29/2010 - 1:59pm
Each year, The Buffalo Beast -- one of the few truly hardcore political magazines/websites -- publishes its list of the 50 Most Loathesome people of the previous year. The List is right on target most of the time, but beyond that...it's hilarious.
And this year, our very own WingNut, Ginny Foxx comes in at No. 36.
Please to enjoy:
