McCain Jokes About Killing Iranians (Again)

Republican Presidential Candidate John McCain jokes about killing Iranians during a press conference July 8, 2008.

This is not the first time McCain has joked about killing Iranians. During a Townhall in South Carolina earlier in the year, McCain sang, "Bomb, Bomb Iran" to the tune of the Beach Boys' song, "Barbara Ann."

Who's the voice on radio in Iran standoff?

The threatening radio transmission heard at the end of a video showing apparently harassing maneuvers by Iranian patrol boats in the Strait of Hormuz last weekend may have come not from the Iranian crews, but from a locally famous heckler known among ship drivers as the "Filipino Monkey."

While the threat — "I am coming to you. You will explode in a few minutes" — was picked up during the incident, further jacking up the tension, there's no proof yet of its origin.

It is a rare treat when something makes you take notice of something new.
This past fall during the national war protests, I got to see FLOBOTS in Denver, Colorado.
Let me just say that although I was impressed then, I only got to see a partial band performance, with not all of the members. Since then, I have seen them on Denver Open Media which seeks to grant us all access to the tv airwaves - something I think is truly important to reclaiming our democracy. FLOBOTS is now getting some airplay on the radio, and well, if you have missed the bands that spoke to truth to power, then check these guys out.
