McHenry ripped apart by Sigmon, Boylan the second "Stewart Drunkard"
Submitted by Thoreau on Mon, 04/14/2008 - 1:18am.
Well, it looks like the Democrats are just having a plain out good week. In the words of Paul O'Connor, Do-It-Yourself Stupidity is in with Republicans, showing just how dumb representatives like Patrick McHenry are like. But hey, us Democrats aren't the only ones screaming it from the rooftops- apparently Lance Sigmon is the only Republican with the guts to actually say a Republican did something wrong, as he tears apart McHenry in this video. God, I love Republican infighting, especially when one of their own breed is the one pointing out McH's many flaws.
But it gets better.

This was covered in the open thread comments, but in the interest of throwing a bit more light on the subject, let's take a closer look.

The chairman of the party of Mary McAllister, Thomas Wright and Jim Black should get his own house in order before deciding to become the ultimate arbiter of right and wrong in state government.
Apparently, she's already forgotten about Coy Privette, David Almond, Joe Boylan and Michael Decker. It looks like we might soon be adding Patrick McHenry to that list of perverts and petty criminals.

Hairdresser Joe: Victim of dirty tricks, or lying liar? You decide.
Submitted by Linda on Sun, 07/22/2007 - 9:01am.Late Tuesday night, The Southern Pines Pilot ran a story in which Joe Boylan called the rumors of his wild exploits baseless. The hard copy of the paper hit the stands on Wednesday. By Thursday, Joe had to issue retractions to two of his statements. Misrepresentations? Or Lies? Hmmm.....
I'm posting this to the front page. I don't think the headline makes it clear - this is a big deal. I think we can kiss the hairdresser goodbye. - RP

North Carolina: State of Secrecy
Submitted by James Protzman on Sat, 07/14/2007 - 11:29am.
In Virginia, the US Navy, the Governor and the Senators put all their cards on the table about possible sites for Outlying Landing Fields. In North Carolina, we know sites are still being considered, but the Governor and our two do-nothing senators decide it's better if We the People don't know what they're planning.
The legislative Black Caucus finds itself on the defensive because of possible conflicts of interest in how scholarships are awarded. The leadership goes into hunker-down mode, fully expecting the crisis of confidence to blow over.
A Republican representative in the NC House RESIGNED this week, while leaders refuse to explain why to We the People. They are claiming this is a "personnel" issue. Sorry, but that dog don't hunt. This is not a "personnel" issue. This is a public servant behaving like a pervert in a public office. An elected representative was forced to resign by the leaders in his party - and they don't explain why.
