Some factual errors in this editorial, but it is mostly on target.

The Charlotte Observer mistakenly says it was the N&O that broke the story about allegations about Parmley, the ED at the state Democratic Party. It was Daily Caller, Tucker Carlson's publication based in D. C.

Insolence, and worse, at Democratic Party
Harassment allegations are serious, need deeper look.

From Laura Leslie of WRAL on FaceBook, news that the Executive Director of the NC Democratic Party has resigned. She says that contrary to Parmley's defense, she spoke to "eyewitnesses" about the allegations.

The News and Observer has a long story with news of yesterday's conventions' resolutions in Wake and Durham as well as the news of today about the NC Democratic Party's ED resigning.

"Leaders of the North Carolina Democratic Party declined to answer questions Friday about reports that a junior staffer quit working for the party last fall after being sexually harassed by a senior party official.

Several party officials said

they were told the party settled with the young man and that he signed a non-disclosure agreement. No financial settlement appears on the party's finance reports.

The senior official allegedly behind the harassment is still working at the party's Raleigh headquarters..."
