The leadership of the Senate has been working against the bill and has succeeded in weakening support for the racial justice act.

Contact your senator and ask them, Marc Basnight, Tony Rand to support the Racial Justice Act.

Eighth District Democrats parachuted (an apropos verb for the district that’s home to Fort Bragg) into Cabarrus County for the district’s annual convention this past weekend.

What we have with this entry is a convergence of politics past, politics present, rock-and-roll, motorsports, and flower power. ... Yes, you can say Alice Cooper, Three Dog Night, Rod Stewart, and Sen. Tony Rand in the same sentence.

Action needed now in opposition to SB 901 and its House companion bill

You may recall a discussion on this topic and Sen. Rand several weeks ago. Now there is a House companion bill to SB 901.

It is urgent that you act now.

I issue a challenge to all BlueNC readers to support the resolution below ... and share it with everyone they know ... and email their State legislators their opposition to the legislation.
