NC's Tea Baggers
Submitted by sydfynch on Fri, 03/26/2010 - 12:26pmIn case you're interested in the growing scourge that is the Tea Bagger movement, here is a link to the NC Tea Party community and a list of all the Tea Party groups that have crawled into the open:
http://ncfreedom.us/2010/03/23/north-carolina-tea-parties/
Looks like they're planning all kinds of activities at the Capitol in Raleigh on Tax Day. God knows what they have planned for April 19th, the anniversary of Waco and Oklahoma City.

Counterprotest at Rep. Brad Miller's office, 4pm TODAY
Submitted by cyndiannp on Fri, 08/07/2009 - 1:53pmIt is my understanding that at 4:00pm today (Friday) the NC Tea Party Revolution is holding a protest at
Rep. Brad Miller's Office on St. Mary's St.
If you have time, or can make time, please consider counter protesting in civil, quiet opposition. The more civil, respectful and legitimate opposition that shows, the more legitimate our side will be.
My family and I will be there!

SEANC to Host Health Care Town Hall Meetings Statewide
Submitted by Blue South on Thu, 08/06/2009 - 4:23pmOver the next three weeks, the State Employees Association of North Carolina will host a series of town hall meetings on health insurance reform across the state. SEANC and community members will share their health care concerns and hear local experts discuss the dire need for health insurance reform. SEANC also invited local congressmen to join the town hall events.
“State employees are concerned about health care. Many of them can’t afford to cover their spouses or children on the State Health Plan, adding to the growing number of uninsured North Carolinians,” said SEANC Executive Director Dana Cope.
