Erskine Bowles?

For God's sake, why?

After his work on the deficit commission, this guy needs to be kept as far away from power as possible.

North Carolina does not need more trickle-down economics.

Bowles and Simpson called for "austerity" as a solution to our economic woes.

They've been trying that in Britain, thanks to David Cameron's Conservative government.

That "solution" has led to Britain now spending longer in this recession than it did in the Great Depression.

I kid you not.

I haven't found a piece of journalism to verify it yet, but I've seen a few Tweets that say he's not running.
