You don't actually believe this nonsense you're writing, do you?

As a matter of fact, I do. It is the natural and logical outcome of criminalizing abortion. Once you make the case that a fetus is exactly equivalent to full human life, there's no where else to go. How could the Taliban justify having different punishments for abortion and good, old-fashioned murder? That would be admitting that a fetus is not exactly equivalent to a full human life, and that admission is intolerable to the Taliban mind.

Women need to pray for God to renew a spirit of submission in their hearts.

And you thought I was kidding about this stuff. I suppose it's inevitable. When your religion is based on the belief that it's kosher for a magic spirit to impregnate an unmarried virgin without her knowledge or consent, well, anything is possible.

Positions such as these on abortion should be violations of the First Amendment since they represent positions which are not held by all religions. For example, no branch of Judaism considers a fetus - until viability - to have the status of a human being. It is not a "nefesh.". Abortion, though not sanctioned for all reasons, is not considered murder unless the unborn child could survive outside the womb. Also, the rights of the mother always take precedence. So, if a mother's life is clearly in danger, an abortion is definitely justified. Judaism, wisely, values the living above all.

In addition to the constitutional amendment defining marriage as between a man and a woman, we need to repeal that anti- bullying bill that mentions "sexual orientation"
