The Seventh Commandment Brigade
Because the NC Family Policy is so concerned about defending marriage, I'm going to help start a new allied group (like the good folks at www.returnamerica.org).
It's time for.....THE SEVENTH COMMANDMENT BRIGADE
THE SEVENTH* COMMANDMENT BRIGADE
(*or Sixth Commandment if you choose the Roman Catholic or Lutheran lifestyle, because even all Christian religions can’t agree on how to number the commandments given to Moses for JEWISH law)
The new group's statement of principles:
Heterosexual hypocrisy is ruining the institution of marriage!
Our legislature is not allowing us to vote on increasing the punishment for adulterers and divorcers.
Because all laws must be based on the Bible, we must do more to enact protections based on the Seventh Commandment (Exodus 20:14 and Deuteronomy 5:18).
While adulterers, divorces, and second/third/fourth marriages in North Carolina are an abomination, those who profit from these actions are even more despicable.
We should not accept co-sponsors to the Defense of Marriage Amendment that are adulterers (Sen. Fred Smith R-Johnston), divorcers (Rep. Debbie Clary R-Cleveland) or profit from either (Rep. Tim Moore R-Cleveland).
Special Note for gift acceptance policy: So-called “family” lawyers like state Rep. Tim Moore make money off the failure of marriages and child custody cases. How can he call himself “pro-family?” No donations from "family" lawyers like Tim Moore are to be accepted.

Great idea!
The 7th Commandment Brigade. Wish I could join, but I'm a de-vorce-ee.
Highly recommended!
