Tillis plays dumb on LaRoque scandal

The three monkeys covering sensory orifices come to mind:

I would respectfully request that you provide the LEC with more specificity regarding the allegation, including without limitation any matters of which you have personal or actual knowledge. Doubtless, if more specific or actual knowledge exists, it will prove critical to the LEC's work.

Doubtless, if you had been paying attention for the last few months, you wouldn't make such an idiotic request:

N.C. State Rep. Stephen LaRoque tapped a federally-funded non-profit he ran to loan his own company money, according to documents filed in the Lenoir County Courthouse this week.

LaRoque Management Group, the for-profit company LaRoque owns, received a $200,000 loan at zero-percent interest in July 2010 from East Carolina Development Company, according to a promissory note found in court records.

Tillis knows good and damned well that LaRoque has been playing fast and loose with taxpayer's money for his own personal gain. If he drops the ball on this, the entire Republican Party will pay dearly.

Tillis is starting to make Jim Black look like a choir boy

but I doubt he'll pay dearly. His district appears to be made up of citizens who like being represented by a crooked, arrogant asshole.
