The truth about the marriage amendment

On two consecutive days after the 9/11 anniversary, North Carolina Republicans doubled-down to assault freedom in America. It is good to know we can always count on Speaker Tillis to tell the truth. Butt-boy Berger, of course, is still in hiding.

Consider this your open thread

for this dark day in history.

I'm resigned to this temporary setback, to this bigotry on political parade. And I can only hope that when one of Tillis' great-grandchildren turns out to be gay that the old man is still alive to feel the shame of his actions.

Twice-married Tillis needs to describe how he felt destroying

... his first marriage.

I'm thinking a poll would be good today.

Who should be outed first?
1) Closeted gay legislators that vote for the amendment
2) Adulterous straight legislators that vote for the amendment
3) Other suggestions

Background on Rep. Glen Bradley's planned theatrics today

Watch out for the crazy.

I hesitate to link.

But here it is.

He planned to pull the switch in position all along.

Just another lying sack of shit

If he really means this:

While I am going to vote yes, I have never been more ashamed of my party and this body than I am today.

Then he should be equally ashamed of himself for voting "yes".
