Tuesday Twitter roundup

There's more than one way to get around the open meetings law:

Senate Commerce Cmte. moves meeting to small room. Hundreds of anti-fracking activists denied entry #ncga #ncpol #bluenc

I was going to refer to this as the "Margiotta Gambit", but methinks Ray wasn't smart enough to come up with it on his own. And here's another one that begs a question to which I don't want the answer:

MT @NCHouseGOP: Delores Kennedy (D) has withdrawn from HD 4. #ncga #ncpol

Leaving Jimmy Dixon to face Libertarian Kevin Hayes for the seat. Like I said, I don't want to know...

With the latest ad it still amazes me that @PatMcCroryNC only knows one opponent - Perdue, and she isn't on the ballot this November #ncpol

It doesn't matter if it's relevant or appropriate, Conen, only that it works. They'd run an ad against the Serpent in the Garden if they could catch Perdue munching on an apple.

Senate passes major #edreform package, incoporating feedback from education community bit.ly/KL8XqC #ncga #ncpol

If by "education community" you mean a handful of privateers trying to steal a treasure off the ship of state, then yes, that statement is correct.

Comments

I may add a few more later

My lunch hour is almost up, but feel free to post your own Twitter snippets.

Topic is the economy and jobs. To submit questions, include #AskKay in your tweet, like this:

How come you have a cushy government job with health care while hundreds of thousands of North Carolinians don't? #AskKay

One I hoped I wouldn't see:

Veto, Veto, Veto.

Now this is quality humor:
