Upcoming Event on Climate Change at UNC

Here's the scoop on an event next week in Chapel hill that is focused on global warming. Looks like there are a couple of big-name Democrats headlining this thing:
Climate Change: The Ultimate Threat Multiplier
A free movie screening and forum discussion on the implications of climate change on national security and geo‐political stability
Tuesday, November 10, 2009 7-9pm, UNC Friday Center
Hosted by: State Treasurer Janet Cowell
Panel Moderator: Rep. Pricey Harrison
Climate Change: The Ultimate Threat Multiplier is produced in conjunction with the Friday Center’s “What’s the Big Idea?” lecture series and in partnership with the UNC Institute for the Environment, the UNC Center for Global Initiatives, the UNC Center on Poverty, Work, and Opportunity, and the Carolina Women’s Center.
