Wake schools candidate lovin' him some Sarah Palin

One-star lunatic.

Tata, 51, spent 28 years in the U.S. Army, rising to the rank of brigadier general. He also written action thrillers, contributed to political blogs and appeared as a commentator on network news talk shows.

Oh golly. Doesn't that sound ever-so spiffy?

According to a post on Facebook, Tata wrote a glowing review of Sarah Palin's book on the a website operated by conservative activist Andrew Breitbart. He said that Palin "is far more qualified to be president of the United States than the current occupant of the White House" and that the former Alaska governor and vice presidential candidate is "precisely the kind of leader America needs."

Twenty-eight years in the U.S. Army may qualify the brigadier general for killing people, but it almost certainly leaves a few neurons short of being the right leader for Wake County Schools.

Just to say it

Any general who thinks Sarah Palin is qualified for anything (other than exploiting her whacked out family for personal financial gain) is clearly suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.

Shake and Bake superintendent

That's how my dad described his OCS training to become a butterbar lieutenant, anyway.

Tata was approached by the Eli Broad Foundation, who wanted to send him to their Superintendents' school, and then he found himself smack dab in the middle of DC. Where he may be caught up in some shenanigans.

Judging by past Margiotta behavior, picking a fish-out-of-water ex-General for Superintendent is par for the course.

Some ugly stuff from the man auditioning the Show in Raleigh.

And such a sterling resume!

Tata voted in 4 to 2

Maybe he'll emulate his idol and quit halfway through his term.

Looks more and more like it's ta-ta time for Wake County Schools

The oh no reports Tata will be allowed to make commentary on conservative "news" and msm. This was a perfect hire for Art Pope, even generals take orders from politicians and his lack of education experience fits the purpose to ultimately destroy public education in Wake County.

I never meant to say that the Conservatives are generally stupid. I meant to say that stupid people are generally Conservative. I believe that is so obviously and universally admitted a principle that I hardly think any gentleman will deny it.
