What do you think of Obama's economic recovery plan?

There are respected people arguing both sides, but I'm hearing more and more that he isn't thinking big enough. What do you think?

Not sure anyone knows what his 'plan' is.....

But he'll probably go along with whatever Geithner(?sp), his treasury guy, wants to do. If it's anything like the first phase of Bush's folly, it's only another scam. When they voted for the first bill, it was specifically noted that the Treasury was to do something to alleviate the mortgage fiasco, but nothing was done, in complete defiance of our gutless Congress. Just the other day I heard a speech by a Representative in the House from the Toledo, Ohio area. She brought out the fact that not one homeowner received any assistance in re-doing mortgages, but the homes were being foreclosed by the banks and turned over to auction companies. Some house are being sold for $4,000.00! And they're stripping the copper and appliances to sell on the sides. Whole neighborhoods are now decimated, as it becomes like a plague that keeps spreading. And Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley etc. will all ride off into the sunset with Bush and all the rest of the crooks not having to worry about these gutless Dems that run Congress. Pathetic!

I don't know enough about his plan to comment

but I'm trusting him to have a good one.

From what I can tell

he's keeping his options open ... and thinking bigger and bigger as the hole appears to be getting deeper and deeper.

At least he seems to have a solid core of a plan, which is a thousand times better than anything Bush ever had.

PS Still trying to figure out my way around forums ....
