Am I the only person moved to nausea watching Pat McCrory "smile" after denigrating black elected officials?

I can't believe a person so high up on the political totem pole would show such disrespect and/or ignorance toward a major polical force like the NAACP, even if he doesn't like the group.

It used to be that Republican leaders gave, at least, lip service to the organization, not just to gain support, but to recognize this group as a legitimate and respected organization.

Now, the line in the sand is drawn, it seems, and GOP leaders like McCrory make no effort to show such respect. It is a sad sign of the times in our polarized political age.
