Who da heck is Ken McKim you say ? Why he is the King George strutting & 10 gallon hat guy from Texas! Well, he happens to THINK he can oust Sen. John Snow. Personally I don’t think it will happen. But here is his money trail.

A Conservative Candidate – The most conservative Candidate in the 50th District Senate race.
Ken McKim, 36 comes from a family of thirteen children. Family is a priority. Family values, marriage, and individual freedoms are of great importance to him. He lives and works in Highlands, NC.
Born and raised in Texas, he made his home in North Carolina in the 90’s.
He was educated in Grapevine-Colleyville Public Schools, Heritage Academy and graduated from First Baptist Academy in Dallas where he played basketball and was the captain of the football team. He then studied political science at a small Midwestern school at Oakbrook in IL.
From an early age, he felt directed to serve people in politics as a conservative Statesman who will stand against the evils of liberal politics. He ran for the Texas State Legislature at 24.
He has studied under and worked for a number of mentors. Among the most notable are Congressman Sam Johnson, R-TX, in Washington DC, and Representative Daniel Webster, R-FL, former Speaker of the State House.
He was chosen from a national field of applicants to create and lead Paragon Project a political action committee designed to elect conservatives to office.
He has held positions of election judge, precinct chairman, and vice chairman in county politics.
From an entrepreneurial family, he has participated in a number of businesses and ministries. Catering and event planning, property management, seminar conducting, counseling and speaking are a few of these.
Currently he, along with his brother, own MEI Construction, a company that builds residential and commercial new construction and remodels in NC.
Ken has a deep and abiding Christian faith. He is a member of First Baptist Church in Highlands. He uses his EMT training and certification particularly on ministry trips. He has been all over the world to help those less fortunate.
He was previously a U.S. commissioned educational ambassador to Russia.
