  1. He'd buy some more slaves and put them to work in his organic garden so he could sit in his library and invent LEDs.
  2. He'd send an exploration party into Canada and then try to buy it from the French for chump change. (I know the French don't own Canada, but neither did they own Louisiana.)
  3. He'd marshal an army to ensure peace after acquiring his new territory.
